Oscar was a loyal and much-loved dog whose gentle nature made him a very special part of his family. With a heart as big as his appetite for treats, he brought warmth, comfort and happiness into the lives of everyone around him.
Oscar loved his daily walks. Would happily sniff every blade of grass as though it held an important secret. He greeted neighbours with a wagging tail and those beautiful, warm eyes, always ready to make a new friend.
Oscar also had a wonderfully calming presence. Whenever life felt a little overwhelming, he seemed to know, quietly resting his head on someone’s lap and offering comfort simply by being there. His gentle and loving nature made him popular with everyone he met, especially the neighbourhood children, who absolutely adored him.
As Oscar grew older, he enjoyed the quieter things in life.
When the time came to say goodbye, his family was heartbroken. However, some comfort can be found in imagining Oscar running free again, with endless fields to explore, plenty of interesting scents to follow and, hopefully, a few treats along the way.
Oscar will always be remembered as the family’s beautiful, gentle soul. He gave them years of love and companionship. Precious memories that will never be forgotten. A very special place in their hearts will always belong to him.
