Lola

Lola, affectionately known by her family as Boley Bish Bish, Lola Loo and Birthday Boley. She was a huge character from the very beginning. The day she came waddling across the field towards her family. They knew there was something very special about her. She may have been the last puppy, but it soon became clear that she had been waiting for exactly the right family.

Lola was the best sister and true sidekick to Ria. Growing up together, people would often mistake them for mum and baby. With her wonderfully boisterous personality, Lola was always playful and loving. Every dog and every person she met was greeted with an enthusiastic wagging tail and plenty of bum shaking. She simply adored attention and affection from anyone willing to give it.

Lola’s love was as big as her appetite, and adventures were one of her favourite things. Walkies could take her anywhere. But if there was grass to roll in, a hill to tumble down or water to splash in, Lola was happy. Being told “no” when she spotted water rarely made much difference. If there was a muddy puddle, stream or anything else she could splash in, Lola would somehow find herself right in the middle of it.

Sadly, the family had to say goodbye to Lola after just six short years. The chocolate trio – Lola and her two sisters – will never feel quite the same without her. The space she has left behind can never truly be filled.

Six years simply weren’t enough, but they were six wonderful years filled with love, laughter, muddy paws and precious memories.

Lola will always be the family’s beautiful water-baby, loved and missed yesterday, today, tomorrow and every day that follows.
