Bertie was the most beautiful, loving, cheeky boy you could ever ask for. He loved his walks and being in his own garden, where he would enjoy having his mad half an hour running up and down the garden before bedtime. He loved his Sunday dinners and was so loyal to his family; he showed them so much love by giving them lots of kisses, cuddles & always being by their side.
Bert’s now home where he belongs and will always be forever in our hearts and minds. Love you forever, Bert.
Bertie was just 10 years old when he passed away on 5th January 2026. The Springfield Pet Cremation team were honoured to be entrusted with Bertie’s care afterwards. Her individual dog cremation was carried out with dignity, respect and gentleness. She was treated with the same love and care that had surrounded her throughout her life.
Bertie may no longer be running alongside her family, but all the memories she left behind will remain in their hearts forever. Their lives were made richer, happier and more complete simply because she was part of them.
Sleep tight, beautiful Bertie. Run free over the Rainbow Bridge, Bertie.
